Andy’s great. He’s the man to call when you have an electrical fault. If the toilet’s flooded or the sink’s blocked, Andy’s your man. Decorating? He’s there with his paintbrush faster than you can say “Dulux Tailor Made Colour.”
Tremors
I ask again “Is it too late?” She looks at me but she’s not looking at me. Eyes, swollen levees, hold back the floods. Dark circles frame dewy lashes, sleep a long forgotten luxury.
Ice Maiden
His eyes pierce. Drawn by his force I am locked. Blanket arms Wrap around me And I warm.

Squinty eyes stare at me accusingly. Flaring nostrils convey my presence is unpalatable. Never mind that I have as much right to be here as she. I am an unwelcome invader.
