NaPoWriMo Day 23 and today’s poem is called From a Mother

From a Mother

Do not be afraid

to walk in this world:

you have already

earned your place

and it is full of possibilities.

When you feel that

there are road blocks

at every turn, take heart.

Remember that you

are brave enough

and strong enough

to withstand the knocks.

You are young.

There will come a time

when the tides will turn

at your command and

you will look back

at these days and realise

that you are blessed.
